Inspiration Needed

I have been feeling so uninspired lately.  I know it is the time of year and the weather - blah!  Hence why I have been missing for a few days.  I came home this evening and it is snowing again.  Decided to stick my camera outside the back door, flood light on, on dusk setting and just snap.  This is the result - I think they look kinda cool.  No effects added, just plain snap on a whim.  What do you think?

Illuminate

It continues to be dreary here.  Maybe that is why I am so drawn to this light from Sundance. I love its simplicity and can imagine myself sitting underneath it on a warm evening. Too pricey for my budget - but I can tuck it in my "dream" file.

Soup and Sandwich

I love a bowl of soup and a sandwich on a cold winters night. Tonight for dinner I made cream of potato soup and turkey Panini sandwiches with guacamole. So good! Earlier in the fall one of the women I work with had a garage sale because she was downsizing. I scored big time. I got a Cuisinart panini maker - never used- for $10.00 and a Chantal cast iron dutch oven- never used for $10.00. No longer can either be described as never used and tonight both were put to good use to make this yummy dinner. Lucky for me, I still have left over soup that I can take for lunch.
